For what it s worth, I still bought more Nike shoes this year than Jordan (yes, I can differentiate between the two), adidas, PUMA, New Balance, Under Armour and every other brand combined. Come on, a year where Nike brought back the Air Force 1 in remastered form, the Neon Air Max 95, the Air Tech Challenge III, the Presto, the Zoom Hawk Flight and introduced us to the Nike Air Max Zero, the Flyknit Racer Multicolor 2.0, the Kobe 10, the Footscape Magista Flyknit and adidas zx flux the LeBron 12 Low was a bad year? When people look back at adidas comeback these past few years, the flashpoint is definitely Kanye, but the kickoff was the adidas ZX Flux. When these first adidas originals ultra boost men dropped in early 2014, people were actually scrambling to get a pair. Since then, adidas has transitioned from the Prism to Reflective to mi ZX Flux to XENO and countless collabs. You might argue that the saturation point has been reached with these, but then something new comes along that changes our perception and we re back to loving them again.

I finally did it . I got myself a pair of one of the most adidas nmd r1 talked about releases of 2015, the adidas Ultra Boost . It took me all but a year to pick up a pair, but once I did, I instantly understood why the shoe had all the hype behind it. Not only does it have a clean looking appearance, the technology that is Primeknit and Boost truly makes it one of the most comfortable shoes that you will ever own. Definitely deserving of the #4 spot on my list.

We were constantly writing/talking about the ZX Flux, Tubular, Tubular X, XENO technology and possibly the sneaker of the year, the Ultra Boost. Let s keep our fingers crossed that in 2016 adidas continues to create more silhouettes/technology that will have us talking about them on a daily basis. Cause who adidas gazelle doesn t love a little friendly sneaker competition to make the other step their game up?

It felt like sneakerheads unanimously decided that the all white colorway of the Adidas Ultra Boost was the best (not long after Kanye took to wearing them) but regardless of color the Adidas Ultra Boost is my favorite new model of the year. Interestingly, last year I named the Adidas Pure Boost as my favorite new model and the year before that the Energy Boost . So, yeah, I m a Boost junkie  but you should be too, it blows everything else away.
